BetNeptune is one of the newest casinos on the net – and also one of the most interesting. It is a hybrid of online casino and betting site, a place where you’ll always be able to find another exciting game to play. Launched in 2020 by ProgressPlay Ltd of Malta, it operates under licenses from the US Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority. The casino features hundreds of games from many well-known providers – but more on that later in our BetNeptune review.

User Experience

Website Navigation

Online casinos have become needlessly complicated. Instead of letting you click a button to see all the poker games, you now need to navigate a labyrinth of menus, filters, and whatnot. BetNeptune’s intuitive navigation is a refreshing departure from the trend. You’re never more than a click away from any of the game sections.

The site’s navigation tools let you pick slots, casino games, or live casino games. They give you quick access to the newest and hottest games or games with jackpots. You can filter games by provider or use a search tool that pops up results as you type.

You can try demo versions of most BetNeptune casino games before placing any cash bets.

There’s no mobile casino app for Android or iOS, but the site runs with buttery smoothness on mobile browsers and is easy to navigate via touchscreen.

Website Design

We have grown accustomed to waiting for pages and games to load. While it’s impossible to eliminate load times, we were pleasantly surprised at BetNeptune’s fast load times. You probably won’t be aware of any page loads here, especially when you’re searching for games to play. The layout is straightforward, and we like the easy-on-the-eyes colour scheme.

All in all, BetNeptune offers a great gaming experience.

Bonus Offers

Welcome Bonus

BetNeptune’s welcome bonus for casino players is among the most generous we’ve encountered. The three-part bonus could earn you $300. It works like this:

  • Your first deposit gets you 25 free spins on Gonzo’s Quest.
  • Your second deposit is matched 50% up to $100.
  • Your third deposit is matched 25% up to $200 – and the site throws in 25 free spins on Reactoonz.

Bonuses and free spin winnings have a 50x wagering requirement. This requirement must be met within 30 days to collect bonus funds.

Sportsbook players receive a ho-home welcome bonus: a $10 betting credit after making $10 worth of cash bets. The wagering requirement is 10x.

Weekly Promotions

After the welcome bonus, you’ll be eligible for more BetNeptune bonuses – and there are a lot of them. For example, there are seasonal events like Double Delicious that offer double weekly bonuses or free spins on the most popular slots.

You’ll score big on weekends, starting with the Cashback Weekends promotion: Use the code DEALER (or MARKER if you plan to play roulette) when you deposit $25 or more. You’ll get a rebate of 5% to 15% of your losses depending on which games you play and how big your losses are.

On Saturdays, you can use the bonus code PLAY when making a deposit to earn 10 BetNeptune free spins.

The Sunday = Funday promotion nets you a 20% deposit match up to $500 when you use the promo code FUN.

Loyalty Rewards

In for the long haul? Then check out BetNeptune’s VIP Club, a loyalty programme in which every $16 you wager earns you one VIP point. You start at the Bronze tier and climb through Silver, Gold, and Platinum to the Diamond tier. Each new level unlocks rewards like birthday presents, access to a personal account manager, and personalized gift items for high rollers. You can convert your VIP points into cash if you like – but we recommend hanging on to them because of the great benefits.

Software and Game Selection

Slots

Slots are the main attraction on BetNeptune games pages. There are 800 slots to choose from, all from well-known game developers, and most with free demo play.

One highlight of this casino is the prominence of licensed games. You’ll find plenty of slots based on rock bands, popular TV shows, movies, and more. Did you know that there’s a slot inspired by EDM superstar Deadmau5? Well, there is – and you can play it at BetNeptune.

Card Games

Card games are found in the Casino and Live sections of the website. While there aren’t many games available, you’ll find plenty of varieties. Fans of card games will find everything from single-deck blackjack to an Atlantic City variant.

Baccarat and blackjack are among the most popular BetNeptune games, but you will search in vain for poker.

Most of the card games are located in the live casino section, where you get a spectacular real-life presentation and the feeling of playing at an actual casino.

Roulette

No casino is without a roulette table or two, and the same applies at BetNeptune. European roulette is the most prominent version here, with a few additional varieties available in the live games section. That said, do note that roulette isn’t the primary casino game here, so there aren’t many games available.

Game Providers

While the BetNeptune website is quite new, its long list of providers speaks volumes about ProgressPlay’s years of experience. Nearly 50 software developers are represented in the BetNeptune games catalogue, including Netent, Microgaming, Playson, Games Lab, and Thunderkick. The site features more than 1,000 games in total.

Payment Options

Accepted Currencies

At BetNeptune, you can play in several national currencies, including American and Canadian dollars, euros, British pounds, Indian rupees, and Japanese yen. Not all currencies work with various payment methods. Note that you can withdraw funds only in the same currency you used to make deposits.

Deposits

BetNeptune deposit options are highly varied. They include debit cards, bank transfers, and many e-wallets. If you prefer not to use a card number, you can pay via PayPal, Paysafecard, PayviaPhone, Trustly, Interact Combined, BitBay Pay, Zimpler, ecoPayz, Neteller, Skrill, UPI, NetBanking, SOFORT, GiroPay, QIWI, WebMoney, or Euteller. The minimum deposit varies according to payment method, but it’s generally either $10 or $20. All of these payment types are processed instantly and without extra fees through Olorra Management Ltd.

Withdrawals

The list of withdrawal methods is significantly shorter, but all the usual suspects are present. You can withdraw BetNeptune winnings to your debit card, bank account, or selected e-wallet accounts – check them at the BetNeptune website.
Each withdrawal method has a three-business-day pending period followed by a day of processing and up to 10 business days to complete the transfer. There is a $2.50 processing fee per withdrawal.

Security

The BetNeptune website is secured by strong SSL/TLS encryption, providing safe money transfers, and keeping user information safe from hackers. The site allows players to set up daily and weekly limits. You can limit the amount you’re allowed to deposit, wager, or lose so you won’t end up spending more than you can afford. There’s also an option to limit the time you can spend at the website.

Customer Support

BetNeptune customer support can be reached via live chat and email through a web form. The support team is available 24/7 and it doesn’t take long to get hold of a customer support agent.

Nonetheless, this is the only aspect of BetNeptune’s operations that didn’t satisfy us completely. While the support agents were polite and friendly, they took way too long and used roundabout ways to resolve our inquiries, even advising us to email them instead of replying to straightforward questions. It’s the one disappointment we must register in our BetNeptune review.

Online casinos are fantastic. In fact, some would argue they are even better than the real thing. They certainly offer more games, more promotions, and a safer gambling environment.
