Gibraltar-based online casino and sportsbook MansionBet announced on June 17, 2021, that it had renewed its principal partnership with the ESL football club Bristol City.

MansionBet signed the original sponsorship deal with the Robins in August 2020. Now, the club’s home and away playing shirts will sport the online sportsbook’s logo, as well as third kits in the next campaign.

However, the MansionBet logo will not be emblazoned on youth team shirts and kits since both Bristol City and the online sportsbook are dedicated to promoting responsible gambling. Still, the question remains whether MansionBet will be able to extend its partnership with the Robins after 2022. In 2020, the House of Lords Select Committee launched an investigation into the gambling industry’s impact on sports. The committee suggested disallowing betting operators from 2023 onward to advertise on playing shirts of football teams belonging to leagues below the Premier League. The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport is currently analyzing this recommendation and has yet to decide whether it will adopt it or not.

Meanwhile, Bristol Sports Group Head of Commercial Justine Kebby said that the Group was happy to approve the partnership with MansionBet for the second season. “With over 18 years of industry experience and a long tradition of sport sponsorship, MansionBet brings a huge amount of expertise and creativity to this partnership. MansionBet also takes an incredibly responsible approach to gambling and has won several awards,” Kebby said.

MansionBet’s Head of Integrated Marketing Dana Bocker said that the sportsbook was looking forward to supporting the English Championship and extending the partnership with Bristol City after the success of its last year’s campaign “One team in Bristol.”

MansionBet is widely recognized as one of the best US betting sites. Apart from Bristol City, over the years, it supported numerous other clubs, including Crystal Palace, Millwall, Tottenham Hotspur, and AFC Bournemouth. It was also a betting partner of Newcastle United and Manchester City.
