Super Group’s sports betting brand Betway has signed a multiyear US partnership with the National Hockey League. This partnership makes Betway an Official Sports Betting Partner for NHL and the first Betway’s partnership with a professional sports league in North America.

This deal strengthens our strategy to expand our global customer base by partnering with the biggest leagues in the most popular sports around the world. Tens of millions of viewers will see the Betway logo on the ice for these prestigious games as we make ourselves known to a new audience in the US and beyond,” said the CEO of Super Group, Neal Menashe.

Betway expects to receive substantial brand exposure globally. During the Stanley Cup 2021 Playoffs, the Betway logo will be displayed on ice in corner positions and on a camera-visible dasher board. For the duration of the partnership, the sportsbook’s logo will be featured at NHL tentpole events, such as the NHL Winter Classic, All-Star Weekend, and NHL Stadium Series.

Starting with the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Betway brand will receive major exposure to sports fans around the globe, and that will continue at other NHL tentpole events throughout the calendar, which is hugely exciting for us,” said the CEO of Betway, Anthony Werkman.

Furthermore, the partnership allows Betway to use the NHL logos and other proprietary material to create a genuine experience for NHL fans. Betway will receive access to NHL’s complete portfolio of media assets, including digital, email, and social media marketing campaigns, according to the Super Group’s press release.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs is the most exciting two months in sports and delivers a tremendous opportunity for fan engagement on a global basis. With the sports betting category continuing to evolve at a rapid pace, we’re thrilled to launch our new partnership with Betway at this very exciting time of our season. Betway has a very aggressive growth strategy and are an ideal partner to engage with our avid fan base,” said NHL’s Chief Business Officer and Senior Executive Vice President Keith Wachtel.

Betway is likely to become the go-to sportsbook for NHL fans. In the meantime, expert punters will surely be mindful and see if the new partnership will bring something to Betway’s offer to help it stand out among the top betting websites in the US.
